Anne Hathaway has revealed how her Ocean’s 8 co-stars ralliedaound to support her breastfeeding on set while shooting the box office hit.
The 35-year-old actress who married Adam Shulman in 2012, gave birth to the couple’s only child Jonathan Rosebanks Shulman in 2016.
And as she is still breastfeeding the toddler, the mother-of-one revealed that she had to try and find time to pump in between takes of her latest movie Ocean’s 8.

Sitting down with Today hosts Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie, Hathaway shared how the all-female Ocean’s 8 cast were an invaluable help and support network.
‘I was so happy because I was breastfeeding and I had that moment where I was like “Is this going to be a positive environment to be able to do that in?”’ she said in the interview. “Everybody was fantastic and they understood.”
Keeping things light-hearted, Cate Blanchett joked that Hathaway breastfeeding actually helped her character as she filled out her dresses more.
‘They also really worked for the costume,’ Blanchett joked as she motioned to her chest.
‘My entire character was built from the chest up,’ Hathaway added.
But on a more serious note, the actress also recounted how her co-stars put on a united front so she could fit in breastfeeding breaks.

‘I remember there was one moment where we were shooting a little long and I just kind of went ‘uhhh,’ and the girls were like, ‘What’s wrong?’ and I’m like, ‘I’m sorry, I should’ve pumped an hour ago.”
‘And the girls formedaound me and they were like, ‘We need a break. We need a break, Annie needs to go do this.’ And it was just like, who gets that? I mean everybody should, but…’
During the intimate sit down, co-star Mindy Kaling also revealed that working with so many moms helped her adapt to the life of a working mother.
‘There’s so many moms here it was nice to see that they can weave into your life,’ she said.
