Described as a colossal undertaking, the exhibition is a collaboration between the Costume Institute and the Met’s Asian Art department. Museum director Thomas Campbell and curator Andrew Bolton expressed the significant scale of the show, expanding beyond the institute’s galleries to encompass the entire Asian Art department.
